Over the years IPL has been proved to very fruitful for the cricket players in not only getting financial benefit but also they have got a lot of fame.
We may see the end of careers of some of this lagend players this year who have part of most of the editions of the tournament.
#1. MS Dhoni
Last editon of Indian Premier League proved to be nightmare for Chennai Superkings as they finished on 7th position just above Rajasthan Royals.
MS Dhoni announced retirement from International Cricket last year. The previous year, he struggled to make a very big impact for his franchise in IPL too.
The Former Indian captain MS Dhoni managed to score 200 runs in 14 matches at an ordinary average of 25. Although he is a legendary player and has huge success playing for his franchise, he may take the leave to make room for youngsters.
We can expect him to pull the trigger anytime soon after this edtion of IPL.
#2. Piyush Chawla
In auction 2021, Mumbai Indians had bought Piyush Chawla to strengthen their spin department. The last couple of years have not been very good for the leg-break bowler, Chawala. Even he found it very hard to find his rhythm while playing with CSK.
He played only 7 matches, taking 6 wickets and had economy of more than 9 while playing in the last season of tournament.
If he fails to prove his calibre this year, then it will become very hard for him to make a comeback in the fierce competition surrounded by young spinners like Rahul Chahar and Jayant Yadav.
#3. Robin Uthappa
The strike rate has become an issue for the former Indian Opener Robin Uthappa for the last few seasons of the tournament. Last year, playing from Rajasthan Royals, he failed to found his touch as he scored 196 in 12 matches that he played at a very nominal average of around 16.
Youngster like Yashasvi Jaiswal, are waiting for their chances. If this youngster cements their placeses in XI, It will be become a mamoath task for the right-hander to make a comeback.
Unless and Until he plays extraordinarily well this year, it will very hard for him to find himself in the playing XI.

It would not be false to say that it could last edition for the South African spinner. Last year, He played only 3 matches and got just 1 wicket and was benched for the rest of the matches.
Due to his form and age, It may be difficult to for him to find a franchise next year.
